MAD About Peanuts—
MAD Parodies of Peanuts Strips and Characters

July 5, 1973

March 19 through September 27, 2004
Charles Schulz paid homage to Alfred E. Neuman in this July 5, 1973, Peanuts strip. . . but MAD magazine already had been poking fun at Charlie Brown and the Gang for over a decade. MAD About Peanuts exhibits nearly fifty years of parodies of the Peanuts strip and characters with rarely seen original art by masters from the Usual Gang of Idiots, including Sergio Aragones and Mort Drucker.

MAD magazine artist Sergio Aragones made a presentation at the Members-Only Reception on March 19th and at the Public Opening on March 20th.
