Author and Economist Yoram Bauman will speak at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and sign copies of his new book, The Cartoon Introduction to Economics: Volume 1. The self-proclaimed first stand-up economist, Bauman entertains by combining the current economy with wit and humor. Bauman makes the economy understandable and even funny. He will be at the Schulz Museum on Saturday, March 27th from 2pm to 4pm.
About Yoram Bauman
With a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Washington, Yoram Bauman began doing comedy to blow off steam during graduate school. Since 2006 Bauman has been the environmental economist for the University of Washington in Seattle. He also teaches part-time at an area high school and a graduate institute, as well as private consulting on the economics of climate change.
About the Charles M. Schulz Museum & Research Center
The Charles M. Schulz Museum opened in August 2002 to fulfill its mission of preserving, displaying, and interpreting the art of Charles M. Schulz. The Museum carries out this mission through changing exhibitions and programming that build an understanding of cartoonists and cartoon art; illustrate the scope of Schulz’s multi-faceted career; communicate the stories, inspirations and influences of Charles Schulz; and celebrate the life of Charles Schulz and the Peanuts characters.
