Special Group Programs

In addition to our regular programming (see the Calendar of Events page for details), we periodically present special group activities and events, including Home School Days, Girl Scouts Days, Boy Scouts Days, and special guest presentations and lectures.

Upcoming Special Group Events in 2012

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7 ● 9:30am–12noon Home School Day: Leveling the Playing Field Get active and get moving while celebrating the 40th anniversary of Title IX and the Museum's newest exhibition, Leveling the Playing Field. Enjoy crafts, games and challenges that will keep bodies and minds active. Cost: $5 in advance; $7 at the door. Advance reservations required: (707) 284-1272.

SUNDAY, APRIL15 ● 10am–2:30pm Girl Scout Day Keep your mind and body active with crafts, games, and challenges in support of the new Athletes badges. Also celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouts and 40 years of girls' achievements in sports with the Museum's newest exhibition, Leveling the Playing Field. Ice skate at Snoopy's Home Ice and earn a Museum fun patch. Cost: $13 per scout; $5 for adults wishing to skate. Advance registration required : (707) 524-9211.
